Playoff Bets (wild card round)

January 01, 2014 by Steel Haven

Regular season ended on a bit of a high note, although the Panthers failing to cover spoiled the chances of a rare perfect week.

Historically I have been much better in the playoffs than the regular season. I really like the home teams in the wild card round.

home team in bold

Saturday

Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) over Kansas City Chiefs

The Colts spanked the Chiefs 23-7 in Kansas City just two weeks ago. What has changed? Surprised this line is not higher.

Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5) over New Orleans Saints

Just can't pick the Saints on the road in frigid conditions. I will actually be rooting for them over the Eagles.

Sunday

Cincinnati Bengals (-7.0) over San Diego Chargers

Bengals had to breathe a sigh of relief when refs handed a playoff spot to the Chargers.

Green Bay Packers (+2.5) over San Francisco 49ers

Just a hunch. Packers are getting healthier.

Last Week

Denver Broncos (-12.5) over Oakland Raiders WIN

Carolina Panthers (-6.5) over Atlanta Falcons LOSS

New York Giants (-3.5) over Washington Redskins WIN

Final Regular Season: 21-30-1  Best Bets: 6-11
