Hard Hat Award (Game #11, versus Washington)

Stiller WR and Punt Return Specialist Antwaan Randle El is the winner of the weekly Hard Hat Award, given to the Stiller player who best embodies the iron-tough, hard-as-steel attitude of the steel workers inside the blast furnace of a still mill.

This was a difficult pick and had a few nominees to consider.Last weeks winner, Jerome Bettis, again rushed for 100 yds, this time against a stingy Skins defense. The Defense also played well giving up only one score and showed why they are ranked # 1 in the NFL holding Washington to some paltry yardage.

The Committee deliberated long and hard, but ARE come out ahead. This award is not for his role in the offense but for his special team efforts. His outstanding work on punt returns gave the Stiller offense as good as field position as one could hope for.ARE ran back a 60 and 43 yard Tupa punt with the Stillers getting a field goal and TD from the great field position.ARE also had a 43 yard return but unfortunately was negated by a Sean Morey penalty.Randle El returned six punts for an average of 18.5 yards. He was determined and showed the NFL why is dangerous week after week.Perhaps some Pro Bowler voters took notice as well and will give him a slot as a return specialist next year in Hawaii.

Kudos to Antwaan Randle El for winning the weekly Hard Hat Award.Wear the Hard Hat proudly, ARE!
