Jeff Reed
Not a bad synopsis. But where is the Jeff Reed love? He gets mentioned as an appendum in your game analysis? Aside from Harrison and Woodley... REED was the STAR of this game.
Jeff Reed has got to be the most under appreciated Steeler. This guy never misses when it counts and as he proved last night, he cannot be iced. Reed has made great strides in his kickoffs and has increased his accuracy from 50-plus. Reed is the best kicker in the game right now...we are lucky to have him.

I said the same thing last night. According to the game center on nfl.com Reed's kicks were caught 4 yards deep in the endzone on each of his first two kickoffs. His other kicks were caught at the 2, 24 (pooch), 2 yards deep, and 3 deep...Kick coverages have been much improved this year, and the fact that Reed is kicking it deeper than he used to has to be a major part of that.

Poor Jeff. He's such a vital player on the team, yet probably the most underappreciated. Sending some his way. Thanks, Jeff!
Re: Jeff Reed
Is Jeff related to Jerry? The snowman passed away couple weeks back...very sad. "You got peanut butter or something in your ears...tell me what that womans got on...her mind?!" Hahaha 10-4 good buddies!

"One of Bob Prince's favorite lines, "It's a game of inches"."
Hoppy, first "hey diddle diddle Rogel up the middle", and now Bob Prince, I'm starting to think you're about as old as me. Sufferin catfish, how sweet it is, we had 'em all the way.

Re: Jeff Reed
Most impressed with how much more distance he's gotten on his kickoffs, and maybe more so the confidence given to him kicking around 50 yard FGs too, something Cowher never wanted to do. The guy seems strange but is a consummate pro about his kicking, and quite level headed about that subject in conversation.
Reed is money and I'm glad we found/signed this undrafetd free agent.

Re: Jeff Reed
For some unusual reason we always seem to get quality P.K.'s inspite of the rest of the team sucking really bad. Maybe it's because they have a suspicion that's the only way to put up points... 'Nuff said about the O-Line.

Who gives a fuck about Reed? He's clutch. Great. Clutch my balls, Arians! Clutch my fucking defensive end coming around untouched and grabbing my fucking balls.
sorry...
sorry...
Re: Jeff Reed
yep, it's awesome to have a kicker you can finally put faith in, unlike the days of kris brown. remember that game he missed like 4 fg's or something? and the ravens fans had a sign that said 'merry kris miss!" or something like that
