Steelers Inactives vs. Chiefs
QB - Mike Vick
QB - Ben Roethlisberger
S - Will Allen
LB - Terence Garvin
T - Byron Stingily
TE - Jesse James
DE - Stephon Tuitt
WHO IS OUR BACK UP QB TODAY?
Some guy named Tyler Murphy, of Boston College, who was activated from the team’s practice squad on Saturday.
Murphy is listed as a WR on the Steelers roster http://www.steelers.com/team/roster/tyl ... 140bb3de5/
Murphy was a rookie free agent following the last years NFL Draft and appeared the team’s first two games of the season and caught one pass for 16 yards in Week 1 at New England. He was released on September 23 and was signed to the team’s Practice Squad on September 24. He will wear No. 16.
To make room for Murphy, the Steelers placed cornerback Cortez Allen on the team’s Reserve/Injured List.
We do get linebackers Ryan Shazier and Jarvis Jones back today.

Ben doesn't surprise me, and doesn't necessarily worry me. I expected him back no sooner than Cincy when he went down. Stoked to have Shazier and Jones back, particularly Shazier. BUMMED about Tuitt. That knee or whatever must have happened late last week. I never saw him leave, and wasn't aware of it until I started looking at the injury report around Wednesday to see about BR7. Hope Tuitt isn't gone long, he's been a force in the middle. Excited for Landry Jones, even more excited that Vick is DONE.
Today is squarely on the coach and his staff. This is a game that the Steelers should control and dominate from start to finish. This team has been super susceptible to trap games under Momlin. I look forward to being pleasantly surprised when he has his team show up disciplined and ready with no thoughts about next week in their heads...
GO Stillers!!!

Come to think of it, who gets the start at RDE then? Does Walton start in place of Tuitt? Is it Cam Thomas? Do we put McCullers at NT and scoot McClendon over to the right? Anyone know?

Interesting the difference in the offense when the opposing Defense has to respect the threat of a pass from an actual QB.

Why the fuck are we playing our corners so soft? Alex Smith is NOT Joe Montana!

D-line has no push & can't stuff run
LBs can't cover
DBs can't cover
other than that, our D is fine

I can't tell if they are just lucky, or starting to get good, but they've been giving up a shit-ton of yards, without giving up a lot of points.
