Oxyoron? Steelers Rushing?

Postby timsim00 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 11:15 am

In the stats of last night's loss, is it an oxymoron to call it 'STEELERS RUSHING'?

Pittsburgh Rushing
CAR YDS AVG TD LG
F. Jones 10 37 3.7 0 14
B. Roethlisberger 1 6 6.0 0 6
I. Redman 3 4 1.3 0 2
J. Dwyer 1 2 2.0 0 2
J. Cotchery 1 -5 -5.0 0 0
Team 44 2.8 0 14

Another oxymoron, Steelers rush defense! Now 25th in the league. Really?

The thing is, Jones had a couple good runs, mixed in with vomit. I'd love to see some 2 TE sets with a FB, and maybe they'll be able to have more success than 75 yards in 2 games. With Miller coming back, they might have more success since he's far better than Paulson, even with a bad leg.

we can beat the Chicago Bears. even with this line=up. As long as out players develop a passion for playing the position (see the Seahawks game footage) and we stop committing lame-ass turnovers. how to you expect to win when are giving away points!

We can win this weekend, v. Bears, but like you said, NO turnovers and we need a turnover, or multiple sacks from the "D". When they have all day to throw, we cannot win.
