Sweed needs glasses

Postby trenches » Thu Jul 31, 2008 10:44 pm

Limas Sweed has an astigmatism in both eyes...

Could this help the college standout? Could big get bigger?

Does anyone remember one of our former first round receivers Charles Johnson? Never really living up to his first round billing.

It seemed like he had problems catching the ball the first couple of years. I think in his third year with the team he goes to the eye docter and they tell him that his eyes are shit.

I remember him giving an interview and laughing it off. TOTAL ASS CLOWN!!!

I wonder as a result of that if the Steelers send their players to the eye doctor. Either way I am glad we didn't hear Sweed need glasses three years down the road.

Dwight Stone had double vision or some shit like that. I remeber his eyesight was iffy. Fast as all you know what but couldn't follow the ball in.

I'm surprised that an eye test is not part of the combine physical process, especially for skill positions. To learn that this was only discoverd by a position coach who noticed him squinting in film sessions uncovers a pretty serious deficiency in player evaluations. Still, thanks Coach; good eyes!
