Missed the play offs by one game and they can their long time coach. 
Wasn't that long ago the media was saying what a genius he was.

Not if the Stains have anything to say about it (unless they're just playing coy by interviewing him).
The guys on WEEI were laughing that they might lose out on Pioli by interviewing Mangini. Would be just like the Stains to eff up a good thing.

I'd say that makes him a lock for the KC position. He has a thing with kicking his old boss's ass.
