She wasn't running "for President".

Sorry, my mistake. She was running for VICE President which in this country means you have to be qualified to be President. Thanks for quibbling, though.

The excuses for failure are already built in.

LOL, so you're saying that the fucked up job that Bush (and his patsies in Congress) did will just be a lame Obama excuse in 4 years? Look around you, that's not just an excuse it's the REASON we're in the shitter. And, no one will blame racism. That's Limbaugh talking.

The republicans shot themselves by supporting Bush. Bush raped America and smiled about it. I love the fact that they are upset and whining about Obama. The bushies had their shot and blew it.

Are you sure of that? :celebrate:

She was trying to set herself up for a presidential run in the next election.

Really? The dems controlled congress? Wow.

The dems did not take the majority in the house and senate until 2006. Nobody had control but the dems do hold the major majority now. Hopefully they will take advantage of that and turn this country around and away from most of the bush/cheney/rightwing nuts fuckjob they have done to America.

BTW, nobody is reading minds or predicting futures. I'm just talking about the past. Bush and company raped America. If you want to follow Rush Limbaugh, that is your problem.

and it's 2009 now.
You don't need a super- majority to pass legislation.
Or to refuse to pass the legislation you are blaming on one party.
(Who mentioned Rush? You are the one pushing a party line here.)

PORK is the problem, and it isn't unique to either party.

Uh, the Dems had a razor thin majority and that's if you count Joe "I'm for McCain" Lieberman who was elected as an Independent. And, with the silly new filibuster rules it's very easy to bog down Congress. Don't you remember the Republicans obliterating the filibuster record between 2006 and 2008?

Plus, there's that little matter of the Presidential veto. Bush was sitting there to block anything that came out of Congress anyway.

What a bunchs of BULLSHIT.
PLEASE TELL US ALL WHAT BUSH USED THE VETO ON?

Or are you saying because he might veto, congress gets a free pass and doesn't have to do anything, or have any responsibility?
Have some BALLS. Pass your legislation, if it is so great, the public supports it and the President doesn't veto it due to overwhelming public support.

Instead, the two parties traded favors. Bush got the dollars for his wars, and the Dems got their pet projects like acorn and legislation requiring banks to make loans to people who were bad credit risks just because they fit a certain demographic.

And what did we get?
WE GOT TO PAY FOR IT ALL, and we got screwed.

THANKS FOR PROVING MY POINT.
Here are 12 pieces of legislation vetoed by the last administration.
BUT ONE QUARTER OF THEM - 25% -BECAME LAW DESPITE THE PRESIDENTIAL VETO POWER THAT WAS USED AN EXCUSE FOR THE DEMOCRATICALLY CONTROLLED CONGRESS FROM 2006-2008 somehow not being at all responsible for the mess things are.

FACTS ARE THAT BUSH VERY RARELY USED THE VETO POWER.

So you have no problem that he left our vets without the needed equipment? Or screwed Americans because of his hyperreligious attitude towards stem cell research?

What was it that was overturned by congress? Lets see....

The US farm bill.
Once again, the US farm bill.
Medicare improvements

Look at what he put to pen to veto.

There is a reason Bush is so unpopular. He screwed AMERICA. I understand it is hard to take for republicans to admit that they voted for the guy that took our country to it's lowest point in many years.

Try reading more than the name of the Bills.
Just cause it's called something, doesn't mean that is what it does, or that is all it does, or that it is the best way to accomplish it.

I'm less concerned with the past.
And more conerned with the present and future.

We’re only 50 days into the Barack Obama Presidency, and:

-Obama is on track to spend more money than any person in the history of the planet.
-Obama and Pelosi’s stimulus bill was the largest spending bill in the history of the planet.
-Obama and democrats have already saddled America’s children and grand children with massive debt. Not that this bothers them.
-The Obama stock market had its worst January in 113 years.
-The stock market had its worst February since 1933.
-The Dow dropped faster under Obama than any other new president in 90 years.
-Obama’s budget more than doubles the national debt held by the public, and adds more to the debt than all previous presidents — from George Washington to George W. Bush — combined.
-Obama managed to spend more than the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.
-Obama will quadruple the deficit this year.
-He’s lost at least 3 administration nominees due to tax fraud.
-He’s promoted a tax cheat to run the IRS and Treasury.
-He’s reneged on missile agreements with allies Poland and the Czech Republic.
-Democrats already banned offshore drilling.
-Democrats scrapped oil and gas leases in Utah for energy development.
-Obama’s party permanently banned drilling in ANWR.

Perhaps you should have been

" less concerned with the past,
and more conerned with the present and future"

when Bush was the president.

Considering the crap hole Bush left our country with, Everything else you posted I and most Americans are glad Obama and Pelosi are doing.

It is comments like you just made that make me compare you to Rush Limbaugh and what he believes.

There you go again blaming just one man for the past, when your party controlled congress for the last 2 years.

The Fan Of STEEL wrote: Everything else you posted I and most Americans are glad Obama and Pelosi are doing.

Who appointed you spokesperson for what most American's think?
Just cause you drank the kool-aid and can't get Barry's dick out of your mouth, doesn't mean that others aren't re-thinking the decision they made back in November.

Obama's ratings agree with my assessment.
The only ones that are re-thinking their choice in November are the republicans.... And they are saying..... was McAnus and Palin our best shot? There was a clear choice between Obama and McAnus and America made the choice.

I'm not a spokesperson for America, I'm just telling you the facts as they are laid out for everyone to see. You just don't like it.

Yeah..sure gotta hand it to Obama.

'Ole numbnuts been telling us for weeks now the economy is in the shitter and, arguably, it is. In fact, he used the state of the economy to get his socialis...err...stimulus bill passed. Now, holy smokes Batman....numbnuts comes back and tells us everything is fine and stable. Which one is it? Never mind, I can figure it out for myself.

In fact, he IS BLAMING BUSH for the problems. Geez....what a sophomore approach. That was prediction # 1.

Fact is Obama is THE PRESIDENT. It is HIS JOB to figure this shit out. Listening to him while on the trail, this guy sounded like a miracle worker. Well, working your magic Obama.

Most people now are realizing Obama for what her really is - six-years removed from being a street organizer in Chicago who never ran a lemonade stand, let alone the USA. Nothing more, nothing less.

I suppose if you are wanting and expecting a handout, you'll defend him.

And what in the hell has Rush Limbaugh have to do with anything? That guy does get under the libs / Dems skin though. Kinda hilarious.
