Affliction rumored to sign Tito Ortiz to fight Babalu

Affliction rumored to sign Tito Ortiz to fight Babalu. Not sure I'd care but paired with a heavyweight bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Andrei Arlovski, it suddenly sounds like the start to a good card.

Yeah I was at a party where we ordered the first Affliction. The first card was great but the production was crap. It seemed like I was watching NFL classics with the poor picture quality.

I'll probably order the 2nd one though cause I'm a huge Arlovski fan.

Even CNNsi.com picking up the story.
Looks like Trump is going to over pay for a past-his-prime fighter.

Looks like Affliction will also get:

International Fight League 205-pound championship and former Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran - Vladimir “The Janitor” Matyushenko who has agreed to participate in the upcoming Affliction 2 show, “Day of Reckoning,” on Oct. 11 in Las Vegas in a rematch with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

and

International Fight League’s lightweight stand out Chris Horodecki

Fedor pussied out of the Arlovski fight (hand injury) so now Arlovski is taking on Josh Barnett for the #1 contender for the WAMMA belt.

If all goes well with the Couture situation though, he might get the next shot in December :celebrate:

Looks like the Arlovski / Barnett fight is delayed, if it happens at all.
