Cederic Benson runs for the Bungles

Postby Hoppy » Sun Oct 05, 2008 5:17 pm

Very physical game, Cedric ran 6 straight times for 2 first downs in the 2nd Q., resulting in a FG. Gives them a speedier dimension.

Dallas 17....Cincy 3 .......... 8 minutes left to the half.

This may be Marvin Lewis's final game with the Bengals.

It really is entertaining to watch the Bengals learn new ways to lose. I about fell out of my chair laughing when Chris Perry fumbled after they recovered that onside kick. I immediately went to he message boards at go-bengals.com, and I think more than a few of the posters there should have their shoelaces and belts removed from them. It's for their own safety.

Cowboys were more than lucky, Romo is playing like a No. Illinois QB., not good under stress. Bungles could have easily have won, don't take them lightly, if Cedric plays more.......

Former defensive coordinator Zimmer of the Cowboys developed a great D. plan for Cincy, almost worked.

But that's just it, they do have good players, and they do occasionally put together decent games. But at the end of the day, they're still the Bengals and they just don't know how to win. Today was a perfect example of that. When push comes to shove, they don't know how to make clutch plays and finish out. You hear people talk about the intangibles all the time, and they don't have them. They're a team that expects things to go wrong when they're winning. When you have that mentality, then things normally do go wrong.

Just ask the Cubs...
