Harrison's going to get fined

Postby deltadweller » Mon Oct 06, 2008 6:03 pm

He's right about the roughing call being pure BS, but the, "Unless (the official) might have money on it." comment will get the NFL's attention. You can be assured that a fine is forthcoming.

note to deltadweller

The word fined looks entirely too much like fired at first glance :sucrutches: :dunce:

I'm ok with him being fined.
Better not be a suspension though.

that play was horseshit, THIS IS NFL FOOTBALL, not flag, not touch, not fuckin soccer, people get hit, and what the NFL is doing is ruining the beauty of the game...how in the hell was silverback supposed to stop himself on that play? QB's might as well start wearing the red "no contact" jersey during games too if this keeps getting worse

Harrison should be able to fine the officials.

I agree, it was the worst call of the season. As what occurs often in the NFL, a quarter second between the release of the ball and the hit...... (It's only called if the defender could have avoided it, but not even close on that play.) If there is a suspension, this will stink to high heaven.

Maybe it's true. As what Monster once said, "Quarterbacks should wear dresses.".......
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

That's right. And the officials should be required to wear ballet tutu's and tights.

Harrison was fined. Not for the penalty, for making negative comments about the officiating. $20,000... :

I hope this pisses Harrison off.

The League Office might want to take 2 weeks off and leave town for a while.

Just until Harrison can take it out on Palmer.

You'd at least like to hear something like, "while we know the call sucked ass, we still feel obligated to fine Mr. Harrison". At least that would be keeping it real. ;)
