Looks like author The Mighty Quinn and most of the expert prognosticators missed this one.

It's amazing how 3rd stringer Moore gets 99 yards now that Simmons is out.

Hello Nel -

I couldn't be happier to be wrong.

Two major points I overestimated - the Jags ability to include more blitz calls in their defense, and their running game. The Steelers played well on the back-side. Nothing on cut backs. Aaron Smith is playing like a beast. The run defense suffered last year when he was gone. Now he's there with a rotating tandem at NT and DE and they're tearing people up. No one can say that Hampton is the key to the 3 down lineman. It's #91 because of the havoc he creates.

I always enjoy reading your write ups... mahalo for writing them!

And, I saw Hoke make a play last night that Hampton probably could not, such as slicing in behind the line laterally to tackle an RB for a loss. It was outstanding.
