2008 DRAFT BUST- This crop ain't no damn good

Postby carson palmer's knee » Tue Sep 30, 2008 1:27 am

So we lose Mendenhall. 3 preseason fumbles, 1 start and a broken wing. Goodbye. And many said he was the RB pck of the draft. Waste of a pick. Won't be a Steeler in 2 years, mark my words.

Sweed. Dumber than dog shit and done. Finishes less than mediocre career in a Browns uniform.

Picks 3-6- ???? Anyone remember these picks?

Steelers 2008 draft- remembered for not having one pick on the roster 2 years after draft.

You are correct, it looks pretty poor.

I'd like to know who actually made the draft decisions this year.

Spilt milk...You can rest that one squarely on Colbert, as Tomlin was relegated to lip service...

Remember that Mikey promised to get some youth on BOTH lines - and backed it up with Hartwig :?: ...

People talk about Tomlin having the clout to make draft decisions, but I seriously just haven't seen it yet...

And now, after all the talk, he just looks like a fool!

I certainly hope we can make it through the remainder of this season without too many more injuries, and am pulling for a 2005-esque post-season miracle.

After that, if the OL is not addressed once again in the draft, I am honestly concerned that it's going to be YEARS until this ship gets righted...
Wha make you tink I won cutchu, mang?!?
