Cleveland weather

Postby Hoppy » Sat Sep 13, 2008 12:50 pm

Texas weather says IKE is headed to mid-America and possibly Cleveland by Sunday night. What's on your radar? Raining now in East Lansing.

Here is the current weather radar. The rain you seen in East Lansing is not the hurricane. But, the hurricane is forecast to move in a clockwise direction and sweep northeast. It might affect the game in Ohio on Sunday, but I doubt it.

Might be a little bit of rain in Cleveland, but nothing really severe, imo.

I think you're right, Nel.

Storms like this consistently lose steam the further inland they progress.

I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. It's overcast here... Kinda cool... A lil drizzle. But nothing bad... yet.

Considering it's going to lose most of it's gusto before even reaching us, it will be hard to believe that anything Cleveland might see from this storm will be any worse than anything the area's already accustomed to.

It'll be a great football-weather day to beat the Stains. That's MY guess at least.

Here's to football!

So just an FYI:

We here in Dallas/Ft. Worth hardly got touched by Ike.

It was a bit of a drizzle... Then a steady rain... Back to cloudy... And now calm.

I don't watch the weather for a living, but I surely doubt the game is going to be remotely effected by this storm.

Hopefully OUR Ike gives Cleveland more havoc than the remnants of the hurricane.

Here's to hurricanes losing steam once on land!

I'm getting ready to head to the game, and trying to figure out whether to dress for wet wheather.
NFL.com and it's weather forcast is saying game time it will be about 80 degrees with a 40% chance of rain.

So do I wrap myself in a plastic rain suit in 80%? Sounds uncomfortable.

Well, I watched the local weather and I thought it was supposed to rain.... right now it's kinda cloudy. I'll check the network stations.

Okay right now it's 83 degrees, and it says chance of isolated thunderstorms.......... it's rained pretty much for 2-3 days now, so I'd say it's pretty likely by looking outside. Dress for warm weather, but bring a raincoat of some sort.
