It's a great read, and good to see Steel Tank working!

It's amazing how only one week apparently changes so much in the AFC, as Tank pointed out.

And that last year or pre-season hype really means nothing at all.

Now is the reality.

It's way too early, although the Brady injury does shake things up. I think the Chargers are still going to be tuff, but we are going to take a big leap in people's power rankings for sure. I think the Bills impressed a lot of people too. Our offense is regarded as border line elite, but I don't think people thought our D would take a step forward this year, and it looks like it did. Let's hope we stay healthy!

Yes - staying healthy is critical. Especially where Big Ben is concerned. It just seems like Leftwhich throws the ball way too hard way too often. With Batch on IR, the QB situation can turn ugly pretty quick.

Been wondering where Tank had been.
Good to see him and excellent read.

Just remember, one week doesn't make a season.
Every year some team starts off hot and falls apart late.
Our Steelers stumbled late lat year, let's hope that's not a Tomiln team trait.
Overall though, I'm feeling very positive about this season, which wasn't the case just 2 days ago.

Buffalo Bills. WATCH OUT FOR THEM !!. Roscoe Parrish is the 2nd best return man in the NFL. They have a great O-Line, a good young QB, M. Lynch and a improving defense.

I'm stoked, too. But...

It's ONE week.

We slaughtered a team that we should have beaten.
The Cleve Brownies got hammered by a team to whom we needed them to lose.

The national pundits on whole have it right (save Vic Carucci who insanely has us 9th or 10th), and power rank us #2 to the Cryboys. Great! That and about four bucks will buy us all a gallon of gas.

SD and IND could easily each be 0-2 with respective losses in Wk #2 in DEN and MIN. Lest we forget though, the NYG were 0-2, nearly 0-3 in 2007, and won the SB. Hell, we were 7-5 and went on to win a SB.

Strike me down for this comment, but with tough road games in Cleveland and Philthy in the next two weeks, and the nemesis Jags out here in Wk #5, a 2-3 start is still not out of the question.

It's STILL a brutal schedule. There are STILL 15 more RS games to be played.
