Stillers drafting compared to Packers

Postby Pommah » Mon Oct 12, 2015 2:54 pm

Steelers need a Cornerback. Draft one in the second round knowing he's hurt and won't play until next year. After that, the Packers take Quinten Rollins in the second round. Here's how he's doing:

And that's one of the many reasons The Packers are undefeated despite Rogers losing his No. 1 WR in the pre-season. Hell, their best performing pass catcher is a guy not good enough to play on The Raiders and Giants, but is performing like a Pro-Bowl caliber Wideout for GB. That says it all.

Bell>Lacy counters the argument. Steelers' rookies rarely started under Lebeau so we shall see going forward how that side of the ball plays out as compared to the Pack. Steelers need to find a way to keep Shazier on the field. Maybe he needs thicker shoulder pads or stuff a couple pork chops under there?

Also, keep in mind that Rollins was facing Nick Foles. Even Will Allen could pick him off...

Amen. What the fuck happened, by the way?? He had full practice Thursday, full practice Friday, then didn't practice at all Saturday and is now listed as out for tonight? What did he tweak his shoulder in practice, or what? Anyone know?
