What a Difference a Secondary Makes......................

Postby StillDodger » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:19 pm

Peyton picked three times in first qtr. in Atlanta..........

(It might be half a season before the Steelers' secondary gets three picks.)

I realize Peyton is not the same on the road, especially a road dome, but I really doubt the Stillers backs would have gotten three picks had they played in place of the Falcons' backs.

In spite of the Jets game, which the poor performance was more due to Sanchez' loss of confidence and inept receivers than good secondary play, this shows how awful our secondary really is.
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

I had the same reaction, Still. At home or not, Peyton should have looked that rusty in the first half of the FIRST game back, not like he hadn't missed a single snap in two years. I do think Clark's absence cannot be disocunted, but our cover D sucks.
