Other teams camp injuries

Postby thesteelhammer » Tue Jul 29, 2008 10:36 pm

Injuries are pretty common this time of year.
I thought one thread for all the other teams injuries might be a good idea.

Pretty big one in the AFC north today.

Ravens starting OT Adam Terry was carted of the field today holding his knee and screaming.

Not that I wish injuries on players, but it couldn't have happened to a nicer team.

If that injury is serious it will really hurt Baltimore Terry is a good OT not easily replaced.

Losing Ogden and this could be a real damper for Flacco's rookie season.

Factor in Mcgahee is already injured and will miss at least the opener.

Speaking of McGahee... not a good sign for an RB who is early in his career. A lot of talent but durability....????

Brown's D gets weaker and weaker. Games with them could be real shoot outs.

Browns rookie linebacker Beau Bell had arthroscopic surgery Thursday to remove loose cartilage from behind his right kneecap.

Cleveland did not announce a timetable for Bell's return.

Bell, a fourth-round pick out of UNLV, was the Browns' first overall selection. Cleveland traded away its first three picks.

Bell finished second on UNLV's career tackles list with 320 in 41 games. He also had 10½ sacks and four interceptions.

Doubt it. Ogden wasn't the same this past year. See Alan Faneca.

Sounds like a bad one.

Ryan Torain, RB (Den.)

Torain is expected to miss about three months after breaking a bone in his left elbow. Broncos coach Mike Shanahan announced Thursday that Torain would need surgery. Asked if the injury was a blow to the organization, he did not respond.
Torain, a fifth-round draft pick out of Arizona State, was flipped while rushing during 9-on-7 drills on Wednesday. Shanahan wouldn't speculate on how the missed practice time would affect Torain's ability to make the team.
