Happy New Year! I'd definitely like to see us finish the regular season on a high note, as long as we don't end up getting #7 even more hurt. Let's set the tone and send the Turdsville Turdsmen off into the postseason with yet another L :sudancin:

That was a truly pathetic first half, I don't care what the circumstances are. You guys realize that you'll be playing teams A LOT better than these scrubs in the playoffs, right?

That said, it looks like the race for The AFC North and No. 2 Seed is over, with Balt. beating Cinci 17-3 at the half....

Maybe not a big loss without Mendenhall? Redman seems to be able to do the job.

Redman doing a nice Jim Brown impersonation.................

And you didn't accept that penalty, why Tomlin? Way to give up 3 pts. *Shakes Head.*

If the Ravens clinch early, put the 2nd stringers in there.............

Factoid: Antonio Brown has never fumbled in his NFL career.

Another ugly win, with combined with Baltimore's W over Cinci, turned out to be meaningless. Even though we'll be facing Tebow Time @ Denver next week, they really need to kick it up several notches, or needless to say, it will be The 2007 playoffs all over again; I.E. one and done.

If you look back on this season, what really did the Stillers in was pussyfooting with the Clowns several weeks ago at Heinz Field, then Ben needed to make plays, BOOM!!!! High ankle sprain...... Then because Ben was not 100 percent in the game today, we overworked Mendy in this game, and BOOM, knee injury.............

It will be a miracle if we escape Denver next week........ Too many parts missing. Tebow notwithstanding.

(Pardon the John Madden speak.)

I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid here but the Steelers will beat down the Donkeys in a laugher next week (bad matchup for Tebow) to set up a rematch with the Cravens. Then all bets are off. But make no mistake that Raven nation is scared shitless of the possibility and the implications of another upset playoff loss to the hated Steelers. The pressure would be entirely on Joe Jacco and Co.

Ben should have never taken the field today but you have to love his desire and competitiveness. He needed another week off judging by the way he was gamely trying to hide his gimpy gait. Mendy reported to have a possible torn ACL, but I think most of Steeler Nation would agree that Redman has been the better runner this year. May be a blessing in disguise as I have never really liked Mendy's running style (yeah, maybe I'm still holding a grudge about the fumble that LOST the Super Bowl last year). Just have to hope Redman has gotten the fumbles out of his system or it will be John Clay time in a hurry.

Losing to San Fran fucked them. Yes they will beat Tebow. But then the Ravens will be waiting. That game will be a brutal game. Even if they get out of it with no injuries, they won't get out of it without being beaten up. Then they have to go to New England. Since the Ravens get the bye, Flacco won't have a chance to shit the bed before he faces the Steelers, a team that he is motivated by. I wouldn't get my hopes up for a Super Bowl these year fellas.

The second Balt. game was the real killer. It was a game-winning drive that should have been stopped. Unlike SF, it was a very winnable game.

You have a point there StillDodger. If your offense gets you more than a field goal lead, you ought to be able to prevent a fucking touchdown in the last minute of the game.

That Balt drive was a killer at so many levels. To give you an idea, I think we would have had the tiebreaker as well, and we wouldn't have had to scramble to win every game at all costs for the remainder of the season. We might have avoided some of those injuries that occurred afterwards. And even if Ben still had his injury, we may have been able to rest him another game or even two. Not to mention being the #1 seed instead of #5, with the same ensuing game results- We even had the tiebreaker against the Patsies.

If we get knocked out of the playoffs before the AFCCG, that drive we allowed at the end of the 2nd Balt game will be what ruined us.
