Bills 26, Stillers 7  ...... Nov 30, 2025 …………Game # 12

Stillers-Bills  Postgame Analysis and Grades

The 6-5 Stillers hosted the 7-4 Buff Jills.  PIT was up 7-3 at the half, although Buff dominated play but suffered 2 turnovers.  After halftime, Buff roared back, while the Stillers stood around feeling sorry for themselves on both sides of the ball.  The result was a humiliating 26-7 beatdown.

Grades:

QB:   Rodgers got the start after missing last week due to the wrist injury.  Today he wore a case on his left arm.

Threw too high to PeePee Wilson, 3d & 5, 2d series.   1H – 6 of 13, 54 yards.  Not good at’all.

Started the 2H by getting strip sacked, which Buf scooped and scored on.  He suffered a nose cut, so Rudolph came in the next series.

How da fuq do ya throw TOO high to Darnell?   Horrible INT by Mason despite having eons of time in the pocket.

Rodgers came back in after Buff scored to make it 16-7.  Did nothing.  Finished 10 of 21 for 117 yards.  Arod:  D   Rudolph:  D-

RB:

Warren –   good TD plunge, 2Q.  Had only 10 carries, which ain’t enough.  Had 2 grabs for 9.   B-

Kaleb J. – got a couple carries in garbage time late in the blowout.

Gainwell – good grab of low flare pass, 2Q, and nice RAC down to the Buff 8.  Had 5 carries, including a hideous line plunge on 4th & 2 in the 4Q that got stuffed for no gain.  Had 2 grabs for 25.   B-

FB:   rarely if ever used.

WR:

Metcalf –  Had 3 grabs for 32, with a long of 14.  Good thing Hextall Khan lavished this stiff with a $31M per year extension.    C

Austin – failed to corral a flag pass, first series, under tight coverage, but a VERY catchable pass.  Had 0 grabs on 2 targets.    F

Wilson – Had 0 grabs on 1 target.   He blows.    F

Skowronek – thought he grabbed a 5 yard pass in garbage time with 30 seconds left in the blowout….but he must have dropped the ball.    C-

Scott Miller – inactive.

TE:

Pat FryBoy –  0 targets, 0 catches, 0 nuthin.

Jonnu Smith – didn’t get Arod’s hand signal on the 4Q misfire in EZ.  Had 1 grab for 6 yards….the lone grab being late in the 2Q in garbage time.     C

Darnell - Clang !   pass clangs off the chest of Darnell Washington, 9:46 2Q.  Did have 2 impressive grabs & run’s to spark the 4Q drive.   B

Con Heyward – did nothing.

OL:  Overall, the line (Peat, Seumalo/Anderson, Frazier McCormick, Fautanu) had a mediocre game.   Jones was put on IR 3 days ago.   Peat got the start at LT.   McCormick literally stopped and QUIT on Bosa on the strip sack and score, 1st play 3Q.  What a tool.   The blocking wasn’t good enough at key points in the game.   C-

DL:

Heyward –  Had 1 solo, 2 As in the 1H.

7-yd Pass

4:13 - 1st

(Shotgun) J.Allen pass short left to Ty.Johnson to PIT 42 for 7 yards (Ca.Heyward; P.Queen).  Slop assist.

3-yd Run

5:58 - 2nd

(Shotgun) J.Allen left guard to PIT 45 for 3 yards (A.Highsmith; Ca.Heyward).  Another slop assist.

In the 2Q, Scam got rumbled over by Josh Allen on a QB keeper on a 3d & 2, which Allen easily converted.   Gee, what an All BLO play by The Scammer, Scam Heyward.

Scam was flagged for taunting after Allen’s 4th & goal TD pass, 3Q.   What a tool.  And a fool.  Ain’t’ done anything all game long at that point, and he’s taunting??    Had 1 A in the 3Q.

Got a solo stop on a running play (finally), early 4Q, for a 3 yard loss.  Got a solo, mid 4Q, when Allen dumped off a short 1 yard pass to the TE near the middle of the field.

3d & 2, 4:48 4Q....and Buff runs a line plunge RIGHT AT  Scam Heyward, good for an EASY 5 yards.  Game over.    Scam finished with 5 solos, most of which were cheezy slop stops.    What a turd.    D-

Benton –  Did little, and finished with 0 solo.  How weak, and pathetic.    D

Harmon – inactive due to a knee.

YaYa Black – got a stop of Cook on plunge, first series.  Got picked on alllll game long.   All game.   C-

LB:

Queen – got nicked up on the 3d & 2 QB keeper, 2Q, with a hip injury.   Did not return.

Pey Wilson – Wilson -- THE God of LB coverage....flails and WHIFFS on Cook along the sideline chalk, last play of 3Q.  What a tool.  Had 5 solos and a stack of slop assists, while doing little or nothing.    D

Watt –    Had no sacks, and very, very little pressure on the QB.   Had zero solos and 4 As.   Didn’t come close to earning his outrageous salary today.  D-

Highsmith – returned to action after missing last game due to a sore pecker.   Had 1 solo, 3 As in 1H.  May have gotten finger on a WR screen pass, 2nd play of game.

Flailed at Allen for an EASY sack, but got shrugged off like a toddler, and Allen turned a 5-yard loss into a 4 yard run.

Got a solo on a 2-yard toss sweep, mid 2Q.

Had 1 solo, 3Q.  Finished with 3 solos and 3 As in a chow-blowing effort.   C-

Herbig – nailed the RB for 2 yard loss, 2d series.  Harassed the QB into a TA, 2d series.  Had 2 solos in limited duty.    B

Malik Harrison – Saw a lot of PT, but rarely ever stopped the RB before a gain of 5 or 6 yards.   C

Sawyers – played little, did little.

Holcomb – saw some PT when Queen got hurt.  Did absolutely nothing.

DB

Joey Porter Jr. -   way too soft on a 3d & 8, 2Q, in which Buff hit for 8 yards.  Had a couple adequate tackles, but also had far too many plays where he allowed the RB to gain too many yards on bounce-outs to the Bills’ right.    C-

Slay – inactive as a healthy scratch.   Go figure.

Duggar – batted a pass during his pass rush, mid 2Q.  Had 1 solo all game long, as a SS in a game where the foe rushed for 249 yards.  WTF was this guy doing all game ??     D-

Jalen Ramsey -   Compiled a stack of slop stops on the score sheet, but did nothing.    C-

Echols – nabbed an INT, first series.

Pierre – got torched by B. Cooks, 3d & 8, first series, for 13 yds.  Got hurt, 2Q, but came back.

Samuel – good tackle of Cook on 6 yard run.

Spec teams:

Waitman –   dog-manure 26 yard punt, early 2Q.  Another subpar 35 yard punt that was FC at the 18, which sux.   Starting to regress, and badly.   D+

Boswell – wasn’t called upon to try any FGs.

Pey Wilson took a foolish, deadball Pers Foul penalty after the Buff KO, late 2Q.

OC:  Art Smith stunk out the joint today, and sent football back 45 years with his Cro Magnon approach.

3d & 9, 3Q, and Smith orders a Gainwell run that gained 7 to force a punt.  Brilliant !   4th and 2, around the Buff 10, mid 4Q, down by 12….and Smith orders a line plunge by Gainwell that gets completely stonewalled.  Brilliant !

Zero pass attempt to Pat Fryboy……sheer dumbassisty.  At the end of the 3Q, this offense had amassed all of….90 yards!     Just 90.  The lone TD drive went all of 39 yards.   This offense reeks with stagnation and cluelessness.  F-

DC:   Austin had the luxury of Buff missing both starting OTs, plus TE D. Kincaid and WR Josh Palmer.  Then, Center McGovern had an elbow issue during 2Q.  Undaunted, Austin got gashed on the ground right from the get-go, with a Cook dive play, first play o’ game, that gained 18 yards. This happened ALLLLL  GAME  LONG.   The Bills set a new record for rushing yards versus the Stillers, with 249.   (Apparently, this is the most since 1975.)    It’s rather sad when Tony Romo is snickering and chortling in the booth, showing viewers how the Bills ran basically TWO running playcalls all game long, yet this daft simpleton, Austin, and his highest paid D in the entire NFL were completely unable to figure it out.  Worse, Austin’s vaunted pass rush created ZERO sacks on Allen, despite the Bills using backups at BOTH tackles.   What a pilo manure.   F-

HC:  Mike Asslin is usually all smug and know-it-all, despite knowing nothing.   Today, he had his buttocks rudely handed back to him by McDermott and the Bills in a complete smackdown.   Stoogelin’s team showed far, far too much quit, while playing shoddy football on both sides of the ball.   Isn’t Stoogelin, who is among the top 3 or 4 highest paid NFL coaches, supposed to be some tactical genius, AND supposed to be this vaunted leader of men ??     Where was any of that today??   The game plan sucked, as did the in-game adjustments.  Worse, his players basically quit in the 3Q of a winnable ballgame, turning a close game into a rout.  It’s high time Stoogelin moves on to his life’s work.  And fast.  A complete disgrace.  F-

Synopsis:  A grisly, brutal home loss, made worse by getting sand kicked in their faces by the Bills’ rushing attack.   Now 6-6, and in a free-fall.  Next up, a huge divisional game at Balt.
